I am often asked the question what is Mentoring? The simple answer is that it is nothing new. Proposers and Seconders have been acting as Mentors for years.
In simple terms It is helping Brethren by Engaging, Educating and Encouraging them i.e. the 3 E’s which leads to Enjoyment and fun.
Fundamentally we are all Mentors. A Lodge Mentor cannot Mentor every brother in the Lodge he needs to coordinate the activities in the Lodge.
As the Provincial Grand Mentor my duty with the aid of the Area Mentors is to support the Lodge Mentor in his activities by providing guidance, education materials and presentations when requested. Access to various resources can be gained from clicking the appropriate link below.
The Solomon Academy deserves a special mention as it provides a tailored course of learning for Brethren that have just completed one of the Craft degrees, it is equally applicable to all Masons as it provides a valuable refresher course.
The main thing to remember is that the Provincial Mentoring team is here to support all Lodges, all you need to do is reach out for help.

Solomon provides interactive ‘Welcome Modules’ which explains the three ceremonies of Craft Masonry and the Exaltation ceremony of the Royal Arch and their associated allegory and symbolism. Each module is part of the Solomon Academy for which you can earn badges and a downloadable certificate.
For those who have earned every badge in any one of the four ‘Welcome Modules’ to download a ‘CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION’. What is more, those who achieve certificates of completion for all four modules are awarded a SOLOMON ACADEMY DIPLOMA, signed by a Craft and Chapter ruler. When you complete a Certificate or the final Diploma, please inform your Lodge Mentor and the Provincial Grand Mentor to allow suitable recognition of your achievement and have your name added to the list of those that have achieved the Solomon Academy Diploma
