On Remembrance Sunday Ian Kingsbury gathered with many other notable dignitaries at the War Memorial on Cathedral Green Exeter where he laid a wreath on behalf of the Devonshire Freemasons. there were also many onlookers present who also stood in silence at 11.00 to remember those who had died for their country in both world and subsequent wars that have taken place in the twentieth and twenty first centuries.
Following this solemn moment Ian attended a service of remembrance in the cathedral.
At another Remembrance parade in Teignmouth over 500 people gathered to take part in the service held at the memorial on the seafront, the Worshipful Masters of Both St. Michaels Lodge and Benevolent Lodge laid wreaths on behalf of their members, they then retired to the lodge where Coffee and biscuits had been prepared to ward off the chill of the autumn sea air.
