The Devon Masonic Golf Association Autumn Meeting was held on Thursday 25th August 2022 at Honiton Golf Club, Honiton. 28 Brethren in total from all over the Province of Devonshire enjoyed a full days golf with a superb 2 course meal and prize presentation all in aid of Charity.
The format for the day was a 4 ball better ball with ¾ handicap (Playing as Pairs). The weather did not let us down, indeed it was a beautiful sunny summers day, perfect weather for golf. Twice a year on the 4th Thursday of May and August Masons from all over the Province of Devonshire play for the Challenge Cup / Vale of Haldon Bowl (winners), the Nigel Adkins (Runner up) Shield and now added to this the Jo Mullins Trophy for the nearest the pin along with cheques made payable to their Lodges for Charity of their choosing. There were also Charity cheques for runner up 2nd & 3rd places.
The meeting raised a total of £140.00 for charity. Once again, the Honiton Golf Club put on a superb 2 course evening meal, Steak & Ale pie with Veg & Potatoes and then a choice of no less than 7 Sweets.
W.Bro Peter Haige Past APGM, President of the Association welcomed everyone, he thanked everyone who put the day together especially W.Bro. Allan Seager, Secretary; W.Bro. Cliff Nightingale, Treasurer; those involved with selling raffle tickets and W.Bro. John Smerdon for taking the photographs. On this occasion W.Bro. Peter Haige Past Asst PGM welcomed the Deputy Provincial Grand Master of the Mark Master Masons, W.Bro. David Purdie and congratulated him on his future promotion to Provincial Grand Master at the October Provincial Meeting.
Presentations were then made to the winners of the day, W.Bro Peter Haige Past APGM and President of the DCMA Association presented the prizes as follows.

Why not come and join us on Next Year, 3rd Thursday May 2023, no membership required just register your details with the Secretary, go on the mailing / emailing list, book in when details are forwarded and enjoy a game of golf with a meal and if you play well, a cheque to take back to your Lodge Charity Steward to go to Charity.
