Charity Mark Lodge and St Aubyn Lodge were due to hold a joint Burns Night when their venue fell through at short notice.
Within 24 hours another Masonic Hall was able to accommodate their event to ensure that members and guests were able to enjoy the night. The hall management and its team of volunteers were able to prepare the venue and provide the catering at the last minute.
The haggis was piped in and the meal was superb, much to the enjoyment of those who attended. Amidst an evening of fun and friendship a lot of money was also raised for charities.
