Davie Lodge No.3721 is a small lodge with a generous membership. At their meeting on 16th March 2023 W. Bro Tony Clapham, the Worshipful Master, presented a cheque for £2,500 to complete their pledge for the MCF Festival 2023.
W. Bro Charles Yelland, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, was delighted to receive the cheque from the lodge and expressed his thanks to the Lodge Charity Steward and members of the Lodge. With W. Bro Reuben Ayres, the Provincial Charity Steward, also in attendance, the cheque did not remain with W. Bro Charles Yelland for much longer than a few minutes! W. Bro Reuben then proceeded to present to the lodge, a certificate to show that the lodge had achieved Vice Patron status for the MCF Festival 2023.
During the meeting the Worshipful Master, W. Bro Tony Clapham, highlighted the importance of topping up the funds. To this end W. Bro Glen Weaver has organised a Quiz Night at the Heavitree Cafe including prizes and a buffet at just £7.50 per person and all are welcome.
