We are a Teaching Lodge, set up historically by Teachers from Devonport High School for Boys in Plymouth.
We still have a number of ex-teachers within our ranks, however, our Membership is now diverse, with all walks of life represented.
As a Teaching Lodge, we do not meet over the Summer, with a break from our May Business meeting until we reconvene at our Installation in October.

We are a friendly Lodge, very much supportive of all our Brethren, with Ritual happily carried out by all members of the Lodge, from the newest to the most experienced.
Our newest Brothers are encouraged to take on small elements of Ritual so as to slowly prepare them for the longer pieces.
This provides an excellent foundation and it is hoped, reduce potential anxiety with what can be, a daunting prospect.
Our Mentoring system ensures that everyone is both supported, and able to progress on their Masonic journey at a pace that suits them and their outside lives.
Our Festive Boards are always great fun, and the camaraderie encouraged by the Lodge is very much in evidence.
