Newton Lodge 6129 had a double treat on last Friday. Resident Grand Officer W Bro Paul Hewson on his “official” VGO visit gave an enlightening explanation of the GL certificates presented to Bros Tim Palmer and Robbie Wight.
And as if that wasn’t enough excitement for the night, W Bro Keith Bower gave a talk on the “Teddies for loving Care” appeal, it’s origins and current amazing 81,000 + teddies donated, and what a huge difference they make to Children undergoing difficult times in hospital.
W Bro Tony Vile, Newton Lodges’s Charity Steward was very pleased to present Keith with £100 for the appeal, from the Brethren of 6129.
