Unity Lodge No. 1332 marked a very special occasion on Tuesday 29th September 2026 with the Installation of Worshipful Brother Lee Fallows as Worshipful Master. W.Bro Marc Brooks did an excellent job as Installing Master, conducting the ceremony with great skill and helping to make it a memorable occasion for all present. The Lodge was delighted to welcome members and visitors, with 61 brethren dining at the Festive Board. It was particularly special to have three Right Worshipful Brothers present: the current Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro Nicholas Ball, together with two Past Provincial Grand Masters, R.W.Bro Michael Penny and R.W.Bro Ian Kingsbury.
Unity Lodge continues to go from strength to strength. The Lodge currently has 59 members, with a further three potential members, an especially encouraging position at a time when many Lodges are seeing their membership decline. To put that achievement into perspective, Unity had 64 members in 2014, meaning that more than a decade later its membership remains remarkably strong and could shortly reach 62.
Of course, evenings such as this do not happen without a considerable amount of planning and preparation behind the scenes. The success of the evening was a credit to the Lodge Officers and all those who played their part, with particular thanks due to the Director of Ceremonies, W.Bro Philip Hutchens, and the Secretary, W.Bro Peter Coleman, for the work they put into ensuring everything ran so smoothly.
Following the Installation ceremony, the brethren enjoyed an excellent Festive Board, full of friendship, good humour and Masonic fellowship. The evening also included a raffle with a number of prizes, among them the customary and much-prized Creedy Carver Duck, which was won by none other than the current Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro Nicholas Ball! We congratulate W.Bro Lee Fallows on his Installation and wish him, his officers and all the brethren of Unity Lodge a happy, successful and enjoyable year ahead.
W.Bro. Lee Fallows
