Sandy Park was filled with music, laughter, and fellowship on Saturday 27th June 2026, as around 500 people gathered for The PGM’s Ball 2026.
Held at Sandy Park, Exeter Chiefs’ Stadium, the evening brought together Freemasons, families, friends, and guests from across the Province for a memorable night of entertainment, good food, and charitable giving.
The theme for the evening was “Let the Music Play”, and the live entertainment certainly lived up to the title. Guests enjoyed music inspired by the sounds of Barry White, Whitney Houston, Tavares, and The Drifters, creating a superb atmosphere and filling the room with classic songs that had many people on their feet.
Alongside the music, those attending enjoyed excellent food and the chance to relax, catch up, and celebrate the friendships that sit at the heart of Freemasonry. With so many people present, the evening had a real sense of occasion, bringing together Brethren and their guests in a warm and enjoyable setting.
The PGM’s Ball was not only a social highlight of the year, but also an important charitable occasion. Thanks to the generosity of those attending, the evening raised a significant amount for charity, continuing the proud tradition of Devonshire Freemasons supporting good causes and making a real difference in the wider community.
Events such as this show Freemasonry at its best: friendship, enjoyment, generosity, and service coming together in one very special evening.
Sincere thanks go to everyone involved in organising the Ball, to those who supported the event, and to all who attended and helped make the evening such a success. Special thanks to David, Steve & Alan who have done so much hard work in the running of this event.
It should also be noted that this was the first major 300 club event since the passing of Paul Watson. It was a poignant moment during the opening remarks that the room remembered his hard work, dedication, and service.
The PGM’s Ball 2026 will be remembered as a wonderful celebration of music, fellowship, charity, and a shining example of what can be achieved when the Province comes together.
