Plymouth – 1st September 2025 – Devonshire Freemasons are proud to announce a new and exciting partnership with St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth, further strengthening their commitment to community engagement and charitable giving in the region.
This collaborative effort between St Luke’s Hospice, the Provincial Grand Lodge of Devonshire, and all of Devonshire Freemasons marks the beginning of a long-term relationship that will see the Freemasons provide ongoing support to one of the South West’s most respected healthcare charities.
At the heart of this initial three-year agreement is a shared vision: to create lasting impact in the local community through compassion, generosity, and visibility. As part of the partnership, Devonshire Freemasons will guarantee a minimum level of annual support, which will include donations from individual lodges as well as provincial-level and national-level contributions.

The agreement also highlights the importance of mutual recognition and shared promotion with both organisation committee to collaborative campaigns, joint social media activity, and public visibility across events and communications.
As part of this evolving relationship, Devonshire Freemasons are fulfilling their strategy of strengthening partnerships with charitable organisations across the county, fostering closer collaboration, improved visibility with our community and greatening our impact to our local areas. Devonshire Freemasons will soon distribute a joint leaflet to all lodges across Plymouth and to the wider province, outlining how lodges can support the initiative and the importance of tracking contributions to ensure the collective impact is measured and recognised.
This partnership is also expected to feature prominently during the Provincial Grand Lodge Meeting in April 2026, with a premiere of a video montage showcasing highlights of the collaboration – a powerful reminder of the difference Freemasons make every day in their local communities.
