The Membership Team W.Bro’s Hornibrook, Cotter, Goode, Weaver, Lewis, Bro’s Smith, Smiles, Malone and Holland attended day 2 of the Devon County Show.
Unfortunately the slow start of day one was repeated today with the team only speaking to 2699 members of the public. This has given us a running total of 3829 members of the public who now have a better understanding of Freemasonry.
We did however, have people showing interest in joining and more people asking about returning regalia for their family members who have passed to the grand lodge above.
What was pleasing today for the team was having numerous people come to the stand and thanks us for our charitable giving to their organisations. Numerous Lodges across the Province along with the Wake Fund were mentioned and we all felt proud to be part of an organisation that is now becoming known for our charitable give giving.
Although the weather is not planned to be great tomorrow we are hoping for more to be on the site.
