W.Bro Mike Saffin was honoured at Cadogan Court Nursing home with a Magnolia tree and commemorative plaque planted in the gardens.
The tree was planted by W.Bro Gordon Long from St.Thomas’ Lodge in Exeter No 4198. with four other members from St.Thomas Lodge present, along with 14 attendees from the Cadogan Court AGM.
Mike was a past president of The Association of Friends of Cadogan Court , supporting the home for over 36 years. Mike also previously had Grand Officer rank in The Craft, Holy Royal Arch , and The Preceptory of Knights Templar as well as 31st degree in The Ancient and Accepted Rite Sovereign Rose Croix.
A prayer in memory of Mike was said by W.Bro.Rev Andy Atkins.
